This week I am very happy to say we have reached the halfway point! Only 20 more weeks to go and we will meet our little guy. The last 2 weeks has been very busy for me as a pet sitter, not to mention I came down with a nasty sinus infection. You never realize how hard it is to be sick till you can't take even a cough drop. After 2 days of coughing, sore throat, and horrible headaches I caved and went to the walk in clinic. Thank the lord a z-pack is completely safe for Mommy's to be and within 4 days I was feeling pretty much better.
Kellen and I are staying pretty active! We have been walking dogs for at least 2-3 hours a day and then going to the gym on off days to swim & walk. But no worries I am still packing on the pounds. According to my book I am right where I should be and all my weight seems to be staying in my belly. Allllll of it! I joke that I look like humpty dumpty with boobs.
My books say that Kellen is now able to hear and recognize our voices. So we have been talking to him all the time. I love seeing Chris talk to my belly. It's adorable! So far still no kicks.... but my doctor says because it's my first pregnancy I may not feel a thing till 23 weeks. I can't wait for our little soccer player to start playing!
