Kellen has changed so much in the one month he has blessed our lives. I wish I could add up the time that I sit and hold him and just stare with wonder at his wittle hands, his not so wittle feet, and his adorable face. Daddy and I love to watch him sleep, the funny faces he makes the cute sounds he coos . We both are completely and hopelessly in love. Having him is an unbelievable blessing and we are beyond thankful.
New things we have noticed....He loves to listen to music. We have packed his i-POD with tons of lullaby's, and sweet songs. Oh and when Uncle Aaron plays the guitar for him he settles down, listens and falls right to sleep. If he stops... he starts fussing. He loves it! Sometimes when I am rocking him and talking to him he will look over my shoulder intently and laugh and smile. I just know that he sees something we cannot. I like to believe it is my Grandparent's, or my niece Grace, or even Christopher's Nana. They visit him, watch over him, and keep him safe. It brings tears to my eyes to watch.

Kellen is so much more alert and active. He can lift his head and you have to hold on tight because he will throw it back and his whole body will go with it! Tubby time is now loved and enjoyed! Even the hair washing. He makes the most adorable faces when we splash the water on him. He kicks and waves and only cries when we take him out. Sleeping is still a little challenging but I am very happy to report he no longer crashes on my chest at night. We have him sleeping in his bassinet on his back for 3 hours at time! Progress by leaps and bounds for us!
At our doctor's visit this month Kellen weighed in at 11 pounds and 14 ounces! Most of you were right on with your guess on our poll. My Doctor has us feeding him every three hours now instead of every two. She was so shocked at how much weight he put on in two weeks and is trying to slow it down a little. Everything else was great!
I am feeling much better and less like I was hit by a bus. This week I have started back to work with a few good clients and am going to baby step it back to normal. I am going to join a gym tomorrow and get back into the swing of things slowly. Kellen and I also plan to start walking around the neighborhood next week to. Hopefully Mommy will be back in pre-baby shape just in time for Christmas goodies!
