We made our first family trip a few weeks ago to The Tradewinds at St. Pete Beach and it was a memorable one. The resort is very dog friendly and really rolled out the red carpet for our pups. They found out it was our first family vacation and that we adopted the pups from a rescue and they wanted to do a little story on us for their newsletter and Facebook page. It was so funny watching them try to get a family photo of all of us. The resort had a beautiful fenced in dog park complete with fire hydrants, fresh water, and nice chairs for you to relax in while your babies play. Plus they have beautiful areas around the resort where you can walk your pups, including a nice stretch of sand. The pups loved it.
Kellen loved the three swimming pools and beach water slide. He swam all day till his eyes were red, we just cant get him to wear goggles. They even had a nice splash pool where he could play with all his trucks but still stay in the cool water. It was such a nice, relaxing weekend and we know that we will head back to this resort again very soon. Of course never soon enough : )
