Another week and I am still growing. How is this even possible? At my Doctor's visit this week I gained four pounds I am still 0% dilated and 70% effaced. So pretty much looks like I may make my due date or heaven forbid later. I begged my doctor to put me out of my misery and he just laughed at me. He said Kellen will come when he is ready.... so already this kid is calling the shots. I thought I was the boss!
Lamaze this week provided some good information and I really feel pretty well prepared for exactly how this whole dog & pony show will go down. We learned some really good positions for dealing with pain, and we learned that Daddy is going to be my beck and call girl through the whole process. Fun for him! Our bags are packed for the hospital and we are ready to go!
Most nights I am wide awake and don't fall asleep till 3 or 4am. But I cant blame Kellen for all my tossing and turning. Besides Monday night when he was having a house party in my tummy he has been sound asleep. I think it must be my body preparing me for late night feedings, because after Daddy leaves for work in the am I am out like a light and sleep so good.
Since I could go at any day really.... I have also been enjoying my favorite foods. Once Kellen is here I am not messing around. I need to get up and running and back into shape! Daddy bought me a new pair of running shoes. I cannot wait to run again! But for now we ate pizza and rootbeer and at least once a week we have Rita's. All I can say is thank goodness this place did not open up till I was 7 months along or I would be doubled in size. This stuff is like crack and all the employees know us by name and flavor now. Sad but so true!
I am now done working..... for the most part and just relaxing around the house. We do a few small chores each day, watch some soaps oh and of course swim in the pool. Kellen is so active when I get in the water. He is also pretty active for most of the day. I know he has zero room to move in there but he still manages to squirm around quite a bit! We are just hoping he isn't to comfy... we are so ready to hold him!

Kellen sounds super comfy...but 70% efaced sounds like progress. Do you have a labor project? In my class we came up with a labor project to kill some time in the begining. I watched Armagedeon. Until then just try to relax!!!
