Kellen's First Halloween 13 Weeks

Kellen the Caterpillar made his first Halloween debut! To adoring fans of course! Daddy and I took him trick and treating around our block to meet all our neighbors. He looked so adorable in his costume. When everyone saw him they just burst out laughing which made Kellen smile and laugh to. It was absolutely beautiful out with a slight chill in the air. So Kellen was snug as a bug in a rug and the combination of the fresh air and movement made him fall asleep after 3 houses. To bad because he probably would have received more candy if he would have been awake to charm everyone! Afterwards Daddy, Kellen, and the pups passed out candy( including all the candy Kellen got) while Mommy went to work. Halloween is like Christmas to our dogs. Tons of kids come to the door and pay attention to them. They love kids. Which is funny because they wont even look at our kid. I think once he is old enough to start tossing them food it will be instant love!

Kellen has been getting so much fresh air lately. He goes on a run with Mommy in the am and then a walk with the pups and us at night. He loves his baby Bjorn but is still getting used to the stroller. If I'm lucky he falls asleep so that I can get in a solid 60 minuets, but if not we just do 30.I try to run with him at least 5 days a week, but we go out all depending on the weather. I am really trying hard to get back into pre-baby shape. I know it will take time and am very comfortable taking it slow, it took me 9 months to put it on so I am giving myself 9 months to take it off. I have no choice! None of my old clothes fit me and my pregnancy clothes make me look pregnant! It's do or die time!

A new toy came in the mail for K-Money this week. It's a DJ Walker and it's so cool. He loves it! Now he cannot walk around very much. But he loves the buttons, lights and music. He is on his very tippy toes and scoots himself a little. Mostly he just pounds on the buttons, scratches and drools. It's so adorable! I promise to put up a video once he can actually move and a groove!

The countdown is on for our trip home to Cincinnati. We are staying for two weeks this time and I am soooooo excited. We are also having Kellen baptized while we are there as well as celebrating Kiara's 10Th Birthday, Christmas & New Years. It will be so special to spend Kellen's first Christmas with our family. So many people have yet to meet him. I think it is safe to say that once they do they will be begging us to move home! I am slowly acquiring warm clothes for not only Kellen but for myself and Daddy. Thank goodness for eBay!

As each week passes Kellen continues to amaze us. This past week he has started to try and roll himself over from back to tummy. He is talking so much now! This kid has a lot to say and I can't wait till he can say it in a way we understand! He can grab at things and is even trying to pick his oui up and put it in his mouth when he drops it. I'm telling you the kid is a prodigy! LOL. Life as a Mommy in a word Rocks.
