Grandma & Grandpa Time ~ 32 Weeks

Every year around this time my Mom and Dad come down to visit us for two weeks. In the past I have always enjoyed them cooking yummy meals each night, spending one on one time with my Mom without having to compete with my sisters, getting lectured by my Dad to go back to Church. But this year is quite different now that we have Kellen.

Kellen and Grandma are quite the couple. It was without a doubt love at first sight for them 7 months ago. He knew her instantly when she arrived and they have been inseparable since. I have no idea how she is going to leave him this week. I just cant even think about it.

Kellen enjoyed his first trip to the Palm Beach Zoo last week. Well.... he really had no clue. But we enjoyed taking him. He looked at the Tiger the same way he looks at Sierra... come here so I can put your tail in my mouth! Kellen did enjoy his first ride on the Merry go round. At first he was wicked worried as the giant cheetah lurched forward and then rose up and down. But once the spinning round and round started my little daredevil giggled and laughed the entire time. He is such a joy..... I love sharing the simple yet amazing joys of life..... like a ride on a merry go round.

Grandpa & Grandma even went on 24 hour Kellen duty this past weekend so that Chris and I could go to Miami for the weekend. We had such an amazing time together. We relaxed on the beach, went out to dinner, and saw Britney in concert. I am a brand new Britney fan.... but a fan none the less so haters step off. She looked amazing, the show was so much fun and super entertaining.... and yes she lip synced. But I just don't care..... I love her.

Kellen is becoming quite the charmer.... just like Daddy. He is the most beautiful, special, sweet, adorable, funny, super cute, baby I have ever met. Please trust me I am not being biased..... just stating the facts! Ask Grandma. Even my Dad is in love..... he wont admit it but you should see him with Kellen. He even hung up Kellen's tree swing in the back yard. Now Kellen can rock the tree branches right here at home!

After we got home yesterday we set up the swimming pool that Nana and G-Daddy bought for Kellen for Valentines Day. Kellen and I took a nice cool dip and he swam him self silly! He fell asleep in his clothes at 7pm and didn't wake up till 230am. He even missed his last bottle. There is no doubt that Kellen will be an amazing swimmer!

As far as crawling..... he is slowly inching his way in that direction. He pushes himself backward all around the carpet. He even started to grab a hold of his bumper in his crib and pull himself up. Daddy lowered the bed a rung down. Then the little stinker pulled the video camera off the crib and into his bed. I have a feeling I am about to have my hands full very very soon!
