The leaves are turning beautiful shades of autumn and falling from the trees, well not here but up north. When we were in Mass we had beautiful, brisk, chilly football weather. It was so nice to bundle Kellen up in cute track pants and long sleeve t-shirts, to let him play on the grass without worrying about fire ants or mosquitos. We took Kellen and Ariella to a farm and had pony rides, fed goats and sheep, and ducks. We had a really amazing afternoon, but ran out of time for apple picking, Chris was upset about that!
Kellen has been sick with a cold for two weeks and he is finally getting better. The runny nose and cough is almost gone, so we can start back to Story Time and My Gym this week. Just in time for our big news.... Kellen is walking! Slowly but surely he is off the tippy toes and taking one wittle step at a time. Yesterday we sat on the floor with him and let him go back and forth between us. Chris and I both teared up a little as we watched our little turtle wobble around with a twinkle in his eyes. Perfect timing for our new Turtle Crossing sign we had made for his room, and then funny enough Aunt Mary sent a real street sign that says the same thing. Daddy is putting it on a post and we are putting it by the pool. I will post pictures of it, it's adorable!
