Kellen's First Cruise

I was 24 years old the very first time and last time I went on a cruise and our little traveler was 16 months. A few weeks ago we took Kellen on a 3 day cruise on the World's largest cruise ship The Oasis of the Seas. The ship was absolutely breathtaking and Kellen was the prince of the seas! Well at least that's the way the staff treated him. The three day trip was free all part of a media & travel industry promotion to get the media talking and the travel industry booking.

Our cabin was so nice and we even had a balcony overlooking Central Park and being on the 14th floor we could also see the pool area up on the 16th floor. Of course with Kellen in tow we could not explore the casino, night clubs, comedy club, ice skating shows etc. But we did have a blast playing basketball, mini golf, swimming, surfing, and we rode the merry go round a few times.

Kellen also will be making his cable television debut, The Discovery Channel was on board filming a special and filmed Kellen in action in the baby pool. We signed the release but not quite sure when the show will be on, we will just have to punch it in the DVR. Mommy's video camera was also rolling non-stop so even if Kellen's pool skills hits the cutting room floor I have plenty of footage so he will be able to see how much fun he had.
