Between the ho, ho, ho and the jingle, jingle, jingle another month has flown by and now Turtle is 17 months. Not quite sure how much has changed this month, he still loves to walk and now we go for two walks everyday. First thing in the am we zoom-zoom Soleil around the block so she can chase birds, squirrels, and lizards. Then we drop her off and I chase Kellen around the block two or three times. Then later in the day after Kellen wakes up from his nap we hit the bricks again. Plus after dinner we all go for a walk as a family so that Kellen can check out all the Christmas lights. With all this walking it's no surprise that he is holding strong at 28 pounds.
Besides his workouts Kellen has started dancing, and I mean really busting a move. It's adorable, and really sweet, especially because of his song choices. He started shaking his tail feather to Christina, Britney, and Lady Gaga to name a few.
The hissy fits have started as well, I guess we are getting a sneak preview of the terrible two's and I am thinking we are going to have our hands full. So Daddy and I are giving Kellen a sneak preview of time-out. Not really sure if he understands how it works but I love the break I get while he kicks and screams in his crib. He actually settles down pretty quickly, so I am hoping Super Nanny is leading me down the right path.
