Who's having a baby?

So, how did I hear about Baby Pike?? Well, since about mid July Eileen had been pestering me about when we were going to get our Christmas tree. Its an annual discussion we have and I can usually hold out until December. Unfortunately this year the pouting started early and we had to get the tree in late November. We picked up the last tree from the patch at Home Depot and took it home. Our new addition! So the tree sits in the stand loosing needles in bunches! I come home from work and my little pet sitter is decorating the tree. Loaded down with my laptop and gym bag, on cue she says she needs help with the tree. I take two minutes and unload and come in to help. Of course being just a wittle short she can't put the decorations around the top. She hands me a couple ornaments to put on top, the last one being a spoon on a ribbon. I read the ribbon, I look at Eileen, I read the ribbon again; "baby's first Christmas 2007." I said who's is this we don't have any babies?? But we do now!! It completely took me by surprise as we have been trying for so long. I have to admit a rush came over me, I didn't know what to say! All of a sudden someone was going to call me Daddy!
