Say Cheese! 17 & 18 Weeks

It's been a very, very busy 2 weeks and I just have not had a second to sit and write... so lets catch up!

Kellen had his first pictures taken last week and as you can expect we just could not get him to hold a smile. The size of the camera they were using was double mine.... so he got wicked shy and hid behind his Puppy. We still managed to get some super cute shots of him just none where you can see his big beautiful grin. Oh and sorry cannot post any of the pictures as Kellen is wrapping them up for Grandma, Nana, and all his Aunts for Christmas.

The other very exciting news is that Kellen started eating cereal last week. Daddy put together his high chair and he loves sitting in it. He looks so grown up... it made me cry. Where did my little 10 pound baby go? Kellen is super messy and already wants to grab the bowl and spoon and do it himself. He screams if I take to long in between spoon fulls. We head to the doctor Monday for his 4month check up then we can start him on baby food as well. He is still sleeping in his bassinet by our bed and is like a little sausage in there. But he loves it! He goes down at 830pm and sleeps most of the night. That being said he will not fit in it much longer so we are starting to put him down in his crib for naps and a little bit at night. So far the longest he will sleep in it is 20 minuets.
Thanksgiving is a super busy weekend for me with my pet sitting business and this past one was out of control. I was way overbooked and working from 430am to 9pm with a few small breaks in between. Daddy and Kellen had the weekend to hang out. It was pretty amamzing for both of them. They went to the park and played basketball and I think they may have went dancing in Miami..... but I cant be sure. Not only did they get to hang out but Daddy also got to see first hand why I cant always get all the housework done and how having time for yourself is not really an option. When Monday rolled around he was so sad to go back to work and leave him.

Not quite sure how much K-Money weighs at this point, I do know that all of his 3 to 6 month clothes no longer fit him. Now we are wearing 6 to 9 months and hopefully he can stay in these for awhile. We need time to shop for 9 to 12 months!

I forgot to add this to my previous comment. I remember when a certain someone said that when they had their baby, the baby would sleep in his room in the crib. No way was the baby sleeping in their bedroom. Things change when you hold that little one in your arms, hmm. Ha Ha, I was just remembering that when I was reading how he was still in the bassinet.

lol. I know! I was just telling my friend Jen that. She made a face at me when I said he sometimes sleeps in our bed. Everything changes the second he is placed in your arms. She will see!
